The term “emerging
market” describes the financial market of newly
industrializing countries. Examples include many nations
in Eastern Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. The
emerging markets hedge fund strategy focuses exclusively
on investments in these markets.
Equity
In general it means
fairness. In investments it means ownership interest
possessed by shareholders in a corporation stock as
opposed to bonds.
